Edward Waters College, a private, historically black college, is proud of its affiliation with the African Methodist Episcopal Church and its membership with the United Negro College Fund. It provides many opportunities for alumni and friends to support its quality programs. Edward Waters College strives to become a model institution and a safe environment to prepare students academically, physically, and spiritually to live and work in a 21st century global society. EWC serves many persons who are first-generation college students who otherwise might not have an opportunity to pursue their career goals through preparation in higher education. It is noteworthy that over 96% of our students require financial aid to attend college.
