Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

Requirements

General Education: Students ma joring in Biology are required to fulfill 47 or 48 general education requirement before they start taking major courses in Biology. A total of 31 credit hours are required to fulfill the major courses requirement. The required courses are listed in the degree plan. As described in the degree plan, students are required to obtain minimum of 30 credit hours in the supportive courses.

Students may also chose to enter the pre-chiropractic program in conjunction with Life University. Students complete three years at Edward Waters College before transferring to Life University for the chiropractic program. Upon completion of one year in the chiropractic program, students are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.

Elective Courses: A total of 15 credit hours are required as an elective. Students get to choose a variety of courses as their elective. Suggested elective courses are listed along with the suggested course sequence.

Exit Exam

Every student majoring in Biology is required to take an exit exam before graduation. The exit exam is usually offered in every Fall and Spring semester. Students are not allowed to graduate without fulfilling the exit exam requirement.
