Dr. Sundaralingam has nearly 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience. He was a Principal Investigator for a $1.8 million grant supported by Department of the Army through the Army Research Laboratory; and for a NASA grant in 2010. He also has managed several other grants from NASA and Department of Army in the past.

Dr. Sundaralingam has served as reviewer for the Educational Testing Service and he has been an Advance Placement Physics Reader for nearly 10 years. He has established several laboratories including a physics lab, material science lab, and math lab with modernized state-of-the art equipment; and he established a dual-degree program between EWC and the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.

Areas of Interest/Research: Cosmic Ray Physics, Infra Red Radiation, Computational Physics, Modeling for arsenic diffusion in HgCdTe
