External Relations

The Department of External Relations provides leadership on matters related to institutional and community relations, along with other efforts to improve awareness, understanding, and support of the College among the general public.

It is the mission of this Department to increase corporate, foundation, and community support. This Department is also responsible for developing and coordinating public relations and fundraising activities of the College with the goal of advancing the mission within and the community at large such as:

• Working with volunteers
• Working with legislators
• Working with grants and scholarship funds
• Maintaining relationships with corporations and foundations
• Working with volunteer boards, alumni affairs, and special affinity volunteer constituencies
