Currently, Tommie and Shandon are adjunct professors at EWC, and are the proud owners of Flowers2carrie, a small business specializing in floral décor for weddings, banquets, churches, Funerals and more, and have provided quality services for the past four years.

Shandon, who earned a degree in elementary education, is currently an educator for Duval County Public Schools at Pickett Elementary, where she is the math, language arts, and reading teacher for the “Star Academy.” Shandon has been employed with Duval County Public Schools for the past seven years, and is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Tommie Fox, who earned a degree in sociology, is currently the director of student life at EWC. He is also the director of the Black Male College Explorers Program, which is an educational at-risk intervention program for black males ages 12-17. He manages all daily operations of the program, including budgeting and implementing educational activities aligned with the regulations set by the Florida Department of Education. Tommie has been employed with Edward Waters College for four years, and is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

After graduating from EWC, Tommie and Shandon attended the University of Phoenix where they earned Master of Education degrees. Presently, Tommie is seeking a Doctorate of International Education from Northcentral University.
