Edward Waters College, a private, historically black college, is proud of its affiliation with the African Methodist Episcopal Church and its membership with the United Negro College Fund. It provides many opportunities for alumni and friends to support its quality programs. We recognize that gifts are essential to enhancing academic programs, student development, institutional advancement, and the overall growth of the College.

Edward Waters College strives to become a model institution and a safe environment to prepare students academically, physically, and spiritually to live and work in a 21st century global society. EWC serves many persons who are first-generation college students who otherwise might not have an opportunity to pursue higher education. It is noteworthy that more than 96% of our students require financial aid to attend college.

In order to attract, retain, and graduate students with promise and students with prowess, we need your help. The Annual Fund – "EWC On The Rise"
Your generosity of giving through our Annual Fund directly contributes to Edward Waters College's reputation as a leader in higher education. Annual giving provides Edward Waters College's constituents many exciting ways to donate to the College. Unrestricted gifts to the College will provide the resources necessary to further academic excellence by supporting academic programs, keeping current with technology, and enhancing the facilities.

Corporate and Foundation Relations
Edward Waters College and its success in developing strategic relationships with corporations of all sizes will help better prepare our students for the continuously growing global community.

Planned Giving
Planned giving provides donors with tax relief and giving options through stocks and securities, life insurance, retirement accounts, personal wills, and personal property.

Major Gifts
Major gifts are large contributions of $10,000 and more from corporations, foundations, alumni, and individuals in the form of cash, personal assets, and/or portfolios.
