Counseling Center

The Edward Waters College’s Counseling Center is the primary source of health and wellness for the campus. Services include individual and group counseling, adjusting to college life; stress and anger management; depression and relationship conflicts with peers; partners; faculty and staff. Referrals to clinicians are also provided as needed. We also receive referrals from faculty, staff and parents to further assist students with academic and personal development. The CC also participates in the College Response online mental health assessments. These assessments are anonymous.

Appointments are not necessary. However, if it is convenient for you to request and appointment, we can accommodate you.

Hours of operation are 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m., Monday-Friday.
For after hour’s emergencies, contact campus security at 904-470-8888.

Brochures and educational materials are available. The Counseling Center’s web page contains a virtual brochure site on many health and wellness topics.

The CC also coordinates accommodation and services for students with documented disabilities. All services are free and confidential to currently enrolled students. Appointments are required for disability services.
